Cleavie Ocus Jennings, 66, of Galax, died in a Winston-Salem, NC Hospital August 12.
He was born in Carroll County Sept. 8, 1914, the son of Jackson Jennings and Etta Bedsaul Jennings.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Jennings, two sisters, Mrs. Alma Sizemore, Woodlawn, and Mrs. Vella Sizemore, Austinville.
Services were held. August 16 at 1 p.m. in the Gladeville Church of God, with the Rev. James Price and the Rev. C. H. Frazier officiating.
Burial was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
