John T. Emmel
Funeral services were conducted for John T. Emmel, 61, at his home on Hampton Street and Jermaine Avenue by Reverend Dr. Sydney H. Barrett rector of the First Presbyterian Church and Reverend J. Raymond Vaughn on Monday afternoon 2 o'clock. Mr. Emmel died at his home on Friday, July 3rd after a long illness. He was born in New York City. He had made his home in Sag Harbor for 40 years. His wife, Mrs. Irene Emmel and two daughters Mrs. Arthur Cleveland and Mrs. Clothier Vaughn all of Sag Harbor survive. The interment was in the Oakland Cemetery.
