Andrew Beisbier Sr., 86, a resident of Campbellsport, died Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital following a five-month illness.

A retired Town of Ashford farmer, he was born Jan. 7, 1880, at St. Kilian, the son of Wenzel and Catherine Strobel Beisbier. He married Lucy Kleinhans Jan. 14, 1908, in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport. Mr. Beisbier had resided in Campbellsport since 1948.

Survivors include four sons, Leander of Elmore, Raymond, Campbellsport, Andrew Jr., city, and Lynus, rural Campbellsport; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Philip, St. Kilian, and Kilian, Campbellsport; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Jaeger, Campbellsport and Mrs. Angeline Murphy, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 9, 1953, and one son.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, Rev. Warren Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
