MRS. LYDIA C. BRESHEARS

Mrs. Lydia C. Breshears, 80, of Cowiche, died Wednesday in Summitview Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Breshears was born at Hillsboro, Oregon, and moved to Elgin, Oregon, in 1897 with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Carter Magruder. Mr. Magruder installed the first electric plant and water works in Elgin

Mrs. Breshears was reared and educated in Elgin, and in 1911 she and Herman Breshears were married in LaGrande, Oregon. They moved to Yakima in 1915, living in Gleed, Cowiche Canyon and Yakima. Mr. Breshears died in 1952.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and Leroy, both of Cowiche; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Feiger of LaGrande; a brother, John Magruder of Kirkland; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
