John F. Miller, 51, Ancram, died June 16, 2003, at home. Born July 18, 1951, in Mahopac, he was the son of Jesse and Hester Head Miller. Survivors include his wife, Ida M. Priest Miller; a son John of Beacon; six daughters, Pamela Anderson, Beacon; April Mahone of Spartanburg, S.C., Terry Miller of Beacon, Jessica Miller of Frankfort, Deborah Ashby of Ancram, and Brenda Reilly of Ancramdale; two brothers, Jesse Miller Jr. of Millerton and Robert Miller of Patterson; five sisters, Clara Totten of Milton, Fla., Ida Finney of Mahopac, Dorothy Finney and Dolores Barrett, both of Holmes and Hester Bishop of Ancram; and 17 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Alonzo Booth and two sisters, Violet Awrytis and Alice Ashby. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Ancram.
