Blake Services Are Scheduled For Today

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Church of Christ for Mrs. Ollie Evelyn Blake, 76, who died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in Childress General Hospital.

Officiating will be Auther Judd, minister. Interment will be in Childress Cemetery by Newberry's.

Pallbearers are Guy Moseley, Jerry Conn, M.H. Conn, Roy Wygal, Tommy Crabtree and Winston Brown.

Mrs. Blake, a resident here since 1917, was born June 16, 1892 in Nocona.

She was married to A.P. Blake December 25, 1909, and he preceded her in death November 16, 1956, in Childress.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons, C.J. and Weldon, both of here and T.A. and Pat both of Amarillo; three daughters, Leona Blake and Mrs. Texie Lovelady, both of here, and Mrs. Naomi Rhodes of Carey; a brother, R.S. Vowell of Duncan, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Chambers of Irving and Mrs. Leora Hern of Dallas; and 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
