Dr. Gorgas was a dentist. He was survived by his wife, Rosalie Hoffmann Gorgas; two daughters, Mrs. Roger U. Ehrlich and Mrs. Louis S. Helm, of Baltimore; and a son, Herbert D. Gorgas, of Albany, New York.
