Funeral Services Held Today For Boyd Demo, Bena

Boyd L. Demo, 69, of Bena, Minn. passed away March 8, 1971 at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Funeral services are being held Thursday (today) at 1 p.m. at Carroll Funeral Home in Deer River with Rev. James Roe officiating. Interment is in Lakewood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Carroll Funeral Home.
Mr. Demo was born Oct. 15, 1901 at Bagley, Minn. He belonged to the American Legion Post of Deer River.
He is survived by his wife, Mae; three sons, Royal of Proctor; Ray and Leland of Bena; two daughters, Marlene (Ray) Risberg of Duluth and Dolores (Charles) Rodberg of Grand Rapids; ten grandchildren; one brother, George of Waupun, Wis.; five sisters, Myrtle (Charles) Lausche of Oregon City, Ore., Hazel Shepard of Kent, Wash.; Clara Berg of Seattle, Wash.; Alice (Lloyd) Songstad, Mew Town, No. Dak.; and Mary Garthus of Duluth.
