Daughter of Austin Allen and Ellen May Hamm Casey.

Mrs. Delphia Casey Rickard, 82, of Route 1, Altus, died Friday at Sparks hospital of an apparent heart attack. Born June 8, 1893, in Newton county, she was the daughter of Austin and Ellen Casey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, in 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Nevia Lawson of Kansas City, Mo., and Mary Ellen Williams of Lawrence, Kans.; two sons, Coy and Leon Rickard, both of Altus; five sisters, Ollie Keith of Fort Smith, Marie Brown of Roland, Okla., Nora O'Neal of Upland, Calif., Edna Hall of California and Arliva Brown of Michigan; four brothers, Joe Casey of Oklahoma City, Marion of Charleston, Roger Casey of Fort Smith and Arthur Casey of Las Vegas; a half-brother, Fain Smith of Lyford, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday at the Altus United Methodist church. Burial was in Nichols Chapel cemetery.
