The above bio was written by the person who made this memorial. That the story that was told in our families. That grandpa name was Lover Bryant.
BUT thru reseach and finding documented proof of Tax records, His real name was John W jr. (Unknown why he started using Lover ), On the 1888-89 tax record he is shown as John W (Lover) McBroom.
Grandma Zuddie and he married in 1898.
Her father were John Jackson Norris. On one of his pension war records it states he was married 4 times, No Chicolaca was named as a wife..
But John J's father was William J ( Jack) Norris ,he married Cynitha Campbell. Her father was an Indian agent ( this found on documents). So unknown if he adopted her and changed her name to Cynthia.
The only place found regarding the indian name was in Uncle John's bible and thru family stories we were told as children.
