Born July 16, 1905, in New Haven, she was a daughter of the late Wilson P. and Linnie (Tripp) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Grinstead, two sons, Paul and Bob Grinstead, twin sister, Buster Roush, and four brothers, Homer, Charlie, Bill and James Miller.
A homemaker, she was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of New Haven, a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 256 of New Haven, and member of the Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary of New Haven.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Bill McFarland of New Haven, Shelby and Cecil Duncan of New Haven, Betty Rice of Marion, Ill.; son, Bill Grinstead of New Haven; two daughters-in-law, Norma Grinstead of Belpre, Ohio, Gloria Grinstead of Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Foglesong Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weirick officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the New Haven EMS.
