Mrs. Melissa Crydenwise, 76, a long-time resident of Buckingham, died at her home Tuesday after an extended illness.
Born at Gilman, Mrs. Crydenwise moved to Buckingham a few years later and had resided there since.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Buckingham Methodist church with the Rev. Franklin Harwood officiating. Burial will be in Eldridgeville cemetery. Friends may call at the Crydenwise home until the time of services.
Surviving are her husband, Burdette, to whom she was married at Buckingham on March 16, 1893; two sons, Elmer of Buckingham and Lazern of Peoria, and a grandchild.
