OBITUARY APPEARED TUESDAY DECEMBER 19, 1989, Pg A12, Trenton Evening Times, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ: MYRTLE V. COX-FOSTER; EWING -- Myrtle Viola Cox Foster, 88, died Friday at home. Born in Hopewell Township, Mrs. Foster was a lifelong Mercer County resident. Together, Mrs. Foster and her husband operated the R. James Foster Insurance Agency until his death in 1959, at which time she continued the agency until her retirement in 1970. She was also employed at one time by Mercer Automobile Co. Daughter of the late Samuel Titus Cox and Lizzie Belle Cox, and wife of the late R. James Foster, she is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Foster Jack, and a grandson, Christopher Jack, both of Ewing. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrence. The Rev. Virginia M. Sheay, rector of St. Lukes Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. untill time of service at the funeral home.
