Margaret Morrow, 56, Ottumwa
OTTUMWA — Margaret G. Morrow, 56, of Orangevale, Calif., formerly of Ottumwa, died peacefully at home Oct. 6 2006 (9th was in obit 6th per death certificate).
She was born June 3, 1950 in San Francisco, Calif. to Hal and Adelaide Cooley Smith. She married Michael Morrow; they later divorced.
She operated a sewing business for many years in Sacramento, Calif. She enjoyed playing with her granddaughter and had visited in Iowa just six weeks prior to her death. She also enjoyed attending church and had inspired many people at AA meetings.
Surviving is a daughter, Adie (Jobie Lowe) Morrow of Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Jenna Lowe; her mother-in-law, Rosie Morrow of Ottumwa; a sister, Adelaide (Bill) Cleere of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a brother, Ross (Diane) Gadeberg of Napa Valley, Calif.; two nephews, Mick Gadeberg of San Francisco, Calif. and William (Rachael) Cleere Jr. of Sunnyvale, Calif.; her husband's second wife Tibi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Ryan Cleere. Upon her request, her body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. William McGhghy officiating followed by family visitation until 6 p.m. Sunday. Internment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
