Mr. George Hayes , of Silverstone, died at his home on Sunday night, He had been in declining health for a long time and of late his mind had been much impaired. He was about 85 years of age, and was a much loved highly respected christian gentleman. He was buried Tuesday with Masonic honors, the members of both Snow and Watauga lodges participating.
