Paul E. Fassinger, 35, of 4362 State Street Road, Skaneateles, died Sunday at the Jack's Reef home of his parents following a long illness.
Born in Auburn, Mr. Fassinger lived in the Jordan-Elbridge area until moving to Skaneateles in 1990. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marsha Atwater; a son, Zachary E. at home; his parents, Arpard and Doris Fassinger of Jack's Reef; three brothers, James A. of Waterford, Mich., Donald R. of Tempe, Ariz., and David S. of Camillus; a sister, Janet E. Bates of Camillus; his maternal grandmother, Frances E. Webster of Onondaga Hill; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the B.L. Bush & Son Funeral Home, Elbridge, the Rev. Ronald VandenOever officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 120 E. Main St., Elbridge.
