Reuben & wife Katherine made their home near Cynthiana & all their children were born there. They never left their homesite, living out their lives there. Reuben was known throughout Harrison Co as an artist at the anvil. In his trade as blacksmith he not only shod horses, but formed many pieces of art from wrought iron.
