Carolyn F. Becker, 69, Rogersville, passed away at 5:10 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011, in St. John's Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving husband and family.
She was born September 2, 1941 in Galloway, Missouri, the daughter of the late Carl and Agnes (Williams) Leming. She was united in marriage on August 22, 1961 to Jimmie L. Becker.
Carolyn was vice-president and bookkeeping supervisor with Ozark Bank. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Kinser Chapel Church. She was a collector of many things, especially antiques. She was a loving wife, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; a niece, Gena Brownwood and husband Mark; a sister-in-law, Norma Nickle and husband Roger; a great-nephew, Jonathan Brownwood and wife Stephanie; two great-nieces, Elise Clement and husband Ross, and Katelyn Brownwood and fiancée Josh Jones; three great-great-nephews, Jacob, Grant and Zachary and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the funeral home.
