Mrs. Sarah Cornell, 83, arrived from Racine. Mich., on July 1st
and attended the family reunion at the home of her son, Earl Cornell
at Valois on July 3rd. Her death came suddenly on July 6.
She was the mother of Murray Cornell of this place.

Mrs. Sarah A. Cornell
Mrs. Sarah A. Cornell, aged 83, died Wednesday. July 6. 1949 at
Valois where she had recently arrived from Michigan to visit her son.
She is survived by five sons: Murray of Montour Falls. Roy and
Clarence of Valois. Oliver and Alvin of Athens, Pa.; two daughters.
Mrs. Alvina Hester of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Frank Gates of Valois: a brother, Wardis Predmore. of Trumansburg; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. at the home of Roy
Cornell, Valois. the Rev. Wesley C. Frary officiating. Burial was in
Valois cemetery.
