Death of W. T. Foust
W. T. Foust was born in Centre County, Pennsylvania, April 20, 1851 and departed this life Thursday afternoon July 22, 1926, at an Omaha, Neb., hospital. He came to Cherokee county in the fall of 1869, and was united in marriage to Mary Ann Lutz Feb. 14, 1873. No children to this union, she having died one year after marriage. He was again married, Nov. 6, 1876, to Alice Eshelman. Two children were born to this union - Dr. Roy of Deary, Idaho, and Minnie Frasier of Peterson, Iowa. The mother departed this life Oct. 18, 1889. Mr. Foust was again married, to Anna St. John, in the spring of 1891. To this union six children were born - Pearl, Vere, Marel, Opal, Billie and Clayton. The deceased was a brother of Mrs. Clara Campbell of this city and Henry Foust of Alta, IA.

Services were conducted from Appleyard and Willace's chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Coonradt officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill cemetery.
