At his residence near Harveys post office, Richhill township, Monday, July 20, 1880 of typhoid fever, Mr. Abram C. Rickey aged about 76 years. Mr. Rickey was one among the most prominent citizens of the upper end, of which he has been a resident and a thrifty farmer for many years. He was a stanch Republican and an uncompromising patriot. An elder in the Presbyterian church near 30 years, his walk and conversation were consistent with his profession. He was buried on Thursday, in the presence of a sorrowing multitude of relatives and neighbors.
