Earnest A. Lanner Dies
Earnest A. Lanner, formerly of Emporia, died Saturday afternoon in Topeka, where he had lived since 1953. Mr. Lanner had been employed as a mechanic for the Jones Construction Company for 13 years before moving to Topeka.
The son of John and Elizabeth Meiers Lanner, Earnest Lanner was born April 2nd, 1898, in Augusta, and he was married to Mary Leggitt in 1920, in Augusta. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka. Mrs. Lanner, of the home, is the only survivor.
