William Curtis Dunn, 77, of Prineville passed away at Pioneer Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2005. There are no services planned at this time.

William was born on February 27, 1927 in Woods, Oregon, to Frank and Lyda (Miles) Dunn. Shortly after his birth, the family moved around the area with the logging circuit that moved up and down the coast.

His family eventually settled in Tillamook, where he graduated from high school. After graduation he joined the Navy and fought in WW II. After his honorable discharge from the service he used the GI Bill and went back to school where he earned his CPA license. He worked as a CPA in Eureka, California, until his retirement in 1970. After his retirement from accounting, he moved to Prineville where he met and married his wife Audrey. They have called Prineville home up to his death.

William enjoyed many hobbies but his favorite was playing cribbage with his friends and reading. His family noted that he had read many of the books at the Crook County Public Library.

He also enjoyed cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of the Masons, Mensa, VFW, and American Legion. Survivors include: his wife Audrey of Prineville; son and daughter in law Monty and Kim Hollie of San Francisco, California; daughter and son in law Connie and John Cason of Prineville, and Terry Hollie of Prineville; one sister and brother in law Joanne and Bob Wolverton of Prineville; four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
