Wife to Ransom Nathan Bennett and mother of seven children. Her husband died in 1895 and she was left to run their farm in Minnesota and raise the younger children. Later, she married John Gillette, son of Avery and Rebecca Gillette. They moved to Idaho for a short period then to Seattle prior to 1910. During her life-time she lived in Indiana, Minnesota Territory, Iowa, Idaho, and Washington. She died of stomach cancer and was buried in Seattle IOOF Cemetery, on Queen Anne Hill, on 23 Dec 1911.
