Rosetta Riley, 88, died Saturday in Regency Place of Greenwood, Greenwood.
Rosetta was born in Orange County, the daughter of the late George Shipley and the late Florence Cornwell. She attended the Paoli school system. On Oct. 19, 1935, she married George Riley. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Rosetta owned and operated a new and used merchandise store in Converse for 26 years. She was a life member of the Converse Order of the Eastern Star and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce (Ed) Franke-Orme, Greenwood, Linda (Buster) Gillis, Shallotte, N.C., Becky (John) DeWitt, Monterey, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services are at 12 p.m. Tuesday in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion. Burial is in Converse Cemetery, Converse.
