Miss Gertrude Ankrim, 94, a native of Ashland, died Sunday in Bowman Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late John and Jenny Duncan Ankrim and was a member of Burlington United Methodist Church. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Grace McKee, Marshall Ankrim, Mitchell Ankrim and Josephine Ankrim of South Point, Dorothy Lambert of Ashland, Charla Baker of Deering, Roy Ankrim of Barberton, Ohio, Frances Lambert of Oak Hill and Louise Kelley. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burlington United Methodist Church with Rev. Melvin Corder officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call at Schneider Funeral Home from 6 - 9 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
