Clarence R. Badtke, 73, of Rosendale, died Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
He was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Ripon to Albert and Lena Marie Boelter Badtke. On February 20, 1988, he married Beatrice Rajek.
Mr. Badtke was educated in Ripon. He was a farmer and lived in the Rosendale area since 1955. He was a member of the United church of Christ in Rosendale.
Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Keith (Bonnie) Klemp of Vernon Hills, Il. David (Pat) Badtke of Rosendale, and Dennis (Bonna) Badtke of Rosendale; one step-son, Alan (Phyllis) Rajek of Campbellsport, 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; and a brother, Arthur Badtke of Wabeno. He was preceded in death by a wife, Ruth Lehman, on April 24, 1980.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, June 9, at the United Church of Christ, the Rev. Gordon Merritt officiating. Burial followed in the Rosendale Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home of Ripon handled arrangements.
