Merrita Ann Russell Brooks, 62, died Monday, February 7, 2011. She was the wife of Roy "Kenny" Brooks and the daughter of the late Edgar and Annie Jane Padgett Russell.
In addition to her husband, "Kenny", she is survived by three sons, Nick Kelly of Enoree, Bennie Kelly of Lyman, Kenny Brooks, Jr. of Ohio; three daughters, Mary Brooks Daniels of Lyman, Rachel (Fernando) Moreno, and Linda (Fred) Crawford, all of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Brooks and Jeri Shepherd; twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brooks was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Russell.
Services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011, at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. David Boyter. Interment will be at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
