Obituary
Mr. Cupples died Sunday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The son of the late Lee and Laura Rhodes Cupples, he lived in Madison County all of his life. He was a member of the Madison Baptist Church and retired in 1983 from the Madison County School system where he worked in maintenance and as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He leaves his wife, Marie Hopper Cupples, whom he married on February 5, 1966, of Bemis; his daughter, Dianne Baker of Bemis; and his son, Stanley Cupples, also of Bemis; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cupples was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
