DICKERSON, EMILY AYRES, 80, passed away Friday, March 1, 2002. She was born August 23, 1921 in Van Zandt County, Texas. On September 14, 1940, she married Robert F. Dickerson in Elmo, Texas. She had resided in Mesquite for the past 39 years. She was a charter member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Dickerson served as Secretary to the Women's Missionary Council. She was proceeded in death by her daughter Patricia Dickerson, husband, Robert F. Dickerson, brothers, Addison Ayres and Charles Ayres, sister, Eula Mae Harris.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2002 at the CALVARY TEMPLE ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH. Internment will follow in the College Mound Cemetery in Kaufman County, Texas. The family will receive friends at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Mesquite, Sunday, 6-8 p.m.
