Barrington Review- July 24, 1930

Miss Adelyn Bierman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Forbes of 518 Prairie Avenue, and George Conte, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Conte of Des Plaines, were united in marriage Saturday, July 19 at 2:30 o'clock at the Congregational church at Des Plaines. A minister from Wheaton performed the single ceremony.

The bride was attired in green chiffon trimmed with eggshell slippers and hose to match and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The maid of honor, Miss Florence Bierman of Barrington, was gowned in yellow chiffon, with slippers and hose to match. Her bridesmaids were another sister, Jeanette Bierman, who wore a yellow crepe gown, and Victoria Conte, sister of the groom, who wore a blue crepe gown with accessories to match. The bridegroom was attended by his brothers, Lawrence and Joseph Conte, also of Des Plaines. A luncheon was served to relatives and friends at Des Plaines.

After a honeymoon trip to Denver, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Conte will make their home in Barrington.
