A native of Tamassee, SC, Mr. Alexander was the son of the late Fulton Denver and Lucy Brooks Alexander. He worked for Schlumberger as a Supervisor of the Accounting Department and was a member and a deacon at Cheohee Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Alexander is survived by his son: Bill Alexander (Gayle) of Tamassee; brother: Arnold Alexander of Tamassee; sister: Lois Abercrombie (Marion) of Pickens; three grandchildren: Heather Martin (Brandon), Jeremy Alexander, and Holleigh Evans (Stephen); and two great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Claire Martin.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his son: Joe Alexander; brother: Denver Alexander; and sister: Dorothy Nichols.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Cheohee Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Alexander Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Davenport Funeral Home.
