WESTFIELD - Theodore F. Adamcik, age 82, passed away on February 7, 2011. He was born on May 4, 1928 in Hatfield, MA to Joseph A. Adamczyk and Marijanna (Sadowski) Adamczyk. He was a graduate of Smith Academy Vocational High School in Northampton, MA. He served in the Signal Corps 322nd Army 5th Corps, part of the 8th Army, 322nd Signal Battalion from 1949 - 1951 and was stationed in Germany. He was employed by Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks, CT for 35 years as an FAA inspector and lead man. He was a member of the Church of the Atonement in Westfield. He was predeceased by his wife Joan (Bruno) Adamcik in 2000. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn and her husband Michael of Westfield, Susan Buffum and her husband John of Westfield, a son Jeffrey Adamcik and his wife Michelle of Pahrump, NV and a granddaughter, Kelly Buffum of Westfield. The funeral will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11 AM in the Church of the Atonement, 36 Court St. Westfield. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Friday from 7-9 PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
