Elliott Lee Cloward, 71, passed away on February 8, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 19, 1940 in Moroni, Utah, son of Donald Elliott and Amy Lavern Bulow Cloward.

He served a mission for the LDS Church to the Northern States. Married Afton Washburn on May 6, 1965 in the Manti Temple. Worked as a meter repairman for Mountain Fuel for twenty-five years. He served in many church callings including Bishop and High Councilman and was instrumental in establishing the Family History Center in the Kearns, Utah North Stake. He was a member of the Republican Party.

Survived by wife, Afton; children: Brent (Debbie), Scott (Michelle), Kaylin (Neil) Lythall, and Susan (Richard) Glenn; nineteen grandchildren; brothers: Don Jack and Bert; sister, Beverly Nielsen. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Kim.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the West Jordan Twenty-Seventh Ward Chapel, 2700 West 7000 South. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and Friday at the Church from 12:00-12:45 p.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
