William H. Babcock of Wurtsboro died in the Deerpark Hospital in Port Jervis Wednesday. A month ago, he was struck by an automobile on the state highway and received a compound fracture of a leg and had been in the hospital since the accident and was reported to be making satisfactory progress.
Deceased was born in Wurtsboro August 19, 1872, a son of William and Sarah Brown Babcock. He is survived by his wife, Edith Dunn York Babcock, and a brother, Fred, of Paterson.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday in the Wurtsboro Reformed Church with Rev. Robert Bonnyman of Port Jervis in charge. The services of the Maccabees Lodge will be conducted.
