OBITUARY- BERENECE GRAHAM PRICE
Berenece Graham Price, daughter of Oley and Carrie Werner Graham, was born at Table Rock, Nebr., July 6, 1914. She was one of seven children.
She received her schooling in the Rosinweed county school near Pawnee City, and was to live in this community the first 22 years of her life.
She married David William Price on March 18, 1936, at Pawnee City. They lived in Shenandoah, Ia., the first 10 years of their marriage and have made their home in Auburn the past 21 years. Three children were born to this union; one daughter dying in infancy.
Berenece was baptized in infancy and became a member of the Christian Church as a young woman. She remained a member of this church all her life. During her years in Auburn she attended the Auburn Christian Church.
She was hospitalized in the Nemaha County Hospital the last of December. Since that time she had not been well, although she had been able to be home. She suffered a severe attack at her home Tuesday evening, February 7, 1967, and was rushed to the hospital where she passed away shortly thereafter. She had reached the age of 62 years, 7 months and 1 day.
She is survived by her husband David W. Price, and sons, Terry and Del, of Auburn; sister, Mrs. Norman (Cecil) Saxer of Pittsburg, Kans., three brothers, Bail R. Graham, Earl L. Graham and Kenneth Graham, all of Pawnee City, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at the Casey Funeral Chapel, Auburn, on Saturday, February 11, with Rev. Ward Merritt and Rev. Frank Zimmerman officiating.
Casket bearers were Sill Stitzel, Leo Gardber, John Sanders, Everet Ahrens, George Hanzlick, Melvin Keithley.
Mrs. Frank Zimmerman, soloist and Mrs. Kenneth Andrews, organist furnished the music.
Interment was Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah, Iowa.
