He is survived by his widow, Mary R; three daughters, Mrs Mary L Inscoe, Mrs Delores A Woodworth and Miss Teresa Marie Rogers, all of Arlington; six sons, Floyd L of Lorton; James W of Fairfax, Roy A of Milford; Donnie L, Robert A, and Michael J., all of Arlington; a brother, Vance of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs Rebecca Beavers of Engleside; and eight grandchildren. He had two other brothers (all deceased), Alan, Joseph, and another sister, Reva Atkins. He was a painter by trade.
