ROSENDALE-Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Candlish Chapel in Fond du Lac and burial in Rosendale Cemetery for Walter C. Marschall of Rosendale, who died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday while at work at Concord Cheese Co., Rogersville. The Rev. Phillip Metzler officiated.
Mr. Marschall was born Sept. 21, 1900 and was married June 30, 1926. He attended the University of Wisconsin and was employed by Carnation Milk Co., Waupun. For many years he worked for Libby McNeil and Co., Rosendale. He belonged to the Council and Brotherhood of Peace Lutheran Church and was a member of the village board.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Esther Haberkorn Marschall; his mother, Fond du Lac; one daughter, Mrs. Rodger Zimmerman, Fond du Lac; four sons, Gordon, Waukesha, Charles, Columbus, Ohio, and Donald and James, Rosendale; one sister, Miss Hazel Marschall, Fond du Lac, and seven grandchildren.
