Wilma was the daughter of William Arthur Eschman and Anna Pearl Comley. On 15 Apr 1933 she married Edward Vernon Jecker and they had nine children: Edward, Betty, Bonnie, Donald, Marion, Fredrick, William, Joseph and Linda. Wilma died at Humana Hospital-Audubon at the age of 78.
