Mrs. Cora Jackson, 86, of Petroleum, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 21, at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Palestine, Wirt County, a daughter of the late Charles Kyger and Agnes Sheppard. She was a member of the Petroleum United Methodist Church and the Petroleum Homemakers Club. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mary Elizabeth Sewell of Houston, Texas; a brother, Raleigh Kyger of Williamstown; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Holland of Petroleum; a stepgrandson, Gordon Kibbee of Pa.; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Jackson; a brother and a sister. Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Raiguel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial was in the Petroleum Cemetery.
