Funeral services were held for Alice E. Homan, 100, formerly of Reading, who died December 23 in Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been a resident since 1998. Born in Reading, she was a looper for many years for Nolde and Horst Knitting Mill, Reading. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, Reading. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. The Lutz Funeral Home Inc., Mount Penn, handled the arrangements.
