BRILL-The death of Charles E. Brill of Town Line Neighborhood occurred on Thursday, March 30, at the home of his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Predmore at Simpson near Rochester, Minn., after an illness of several months. The body was brought to Rosendale for burial. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the house and 2:00 o'clock at the Town Line Church. Rev. E. a. Hamley of Ripon officiated. Rev. Mr. Hamley spoke works of comfort to those assembled and as he had been a life-long friend of the deceased he gave many reminiscences. which were of interest. Those acting as bearers were: Messrs Elmer Martin, Will Radoll, Frank Kono, August Giese, August Arndt and Julius Badke. Interment was in Rosendale.

Charles E. Brill was born in the state of New York in 1838. When but a lad of twelve he came to Wisconsin with his parents and had resided on the same farm near Rosendale for 75 years. He was respected and honored by all who knew him. Of the large family of Brills, he is survived by but one brother, George, residing near Rochester, Minn., who with Mr. and Mrs. Predmore, cousins, accompanied the body to Rosendale. He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away four months ago.
