Mrs. Vera Bazemore Dubberly,84,died Friday at her home. The Tattnall County native has lived in Glennville most of her life and was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church, the Amanda DeLoach Sunday school class, a choir member for over 50 years, a past president of W.M.U. and a charter member of the Glennville Garden Club.
Surviving are a son, B. Daniel Dubberly, Jr.; two foster sons, Durwood Sikes, both of Glennville, and Dell Sikes of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Pirkle and Mrs. Leila Bacon, both of Glennville and Mrs. Edna Screws of Oak Harbor, Washington; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the widow of the late Bruce D. Dubberly.
Funeral service were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Glennville First Baptist Church, with burial in the Glennville City Cemetery.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
