BRIGHAM CITY – Katherine Jean Parker Coates, 48, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the Brigham City Hospital.

Katherine was born on February 8, 1957 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Richard and Patricia Geiger Parker.

She graduated from Ben Lomond High School.

Katherine married David L. Coates, on June 4, 1993 in Perry, UT.

She worked at IRS and Smith and Edwards.

Katherine was a spunky, wonderful person who loved her animals dearly.

Surviving are her husband, David Coates, Brigham City, UT; step-children, Tammy Walker, West Valley, UT; Denise Clegg, American Fork, UT; five grandchildren; parents, Patricia Elsworth, Richard (Carolyn) Parker, No. Ogden, UT; step-mother Donna Holwell, sisters, and brothers, Christine Hansen, Sheryl Robinett, Michael Parker, David Parker, William Parker, Keith Parker, Norene Birt.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
