John B. Bordelon, a retired loan officer and resident of Baton Rouge, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Baton rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 79, a native of Evergreen and veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Visiting at Jefferson Baptist Church until religious service. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home.

Survived by his wife, Hazel C. Bordelon; and four sisters.
