Third child of George Washington and Evolina Rebecca (Owsley) Lane. She worked as a housekeeper in the neighborhood where she was born, until her premature death at the age of 27.

Death of Annie Lane

Miss Annie Coaline Lane, who resided with her parents about 10 miles Northwest of Warsaw on Rural Route No. 1, died September 12, 1906, after an illness of a little over a week.

The deceased was born July (31) 1879, and was 27 years, 1 month and 12 days old at the time of her death.

Miss Lane was general favorite in the neighborhood where she resided, and her death will be deeply regretted by her neighbors and friends.

The funeral services were held at the family residence on the 13th, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family graveyard.
