Notes
- A companion grave marker with her husband, Lawrence D. Bentley, exists at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery in Hamlin, Texas. This companion grave marker also adorns the final resting place for his first wife, Emma Estelle. On this grave marker, Lawrence's given name was mistakenly spelled Lawrance. Upon his death, Lawrence D. Bentley was laid to rest on the grounds of Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.
- Emma was also survived by their sister, Mrs. Mary Etta (Ivie) Myers. However, Mary was erroneously not named as a survivor in the published obituary.
