Born at Skåreflådå on the Nordskår farm outside the village of Fister.

Elizabeth and husband Ole Andreas (Andrew) Knutson had 10 children. I've been able to locate 9 of the 10, so if anyone can help me locate that missing 10th child, please let me know. I believe they would have been born in LaSalle County, though possibly Ogle County and died prior to 1900.

I also know the eldest, Anna died between 1879 (I have her confirmation document from October 19, 1879 in Stavanger) and 1900, but have been unable to confirm if she married and what day or where she died. Most likely she died prior to July 1884 when her older sister, Annie (Anna/Ann) was born.

Olava Edvarda Knutson also died prior to 1900 and I believe she died after 1880 when the family moved to the United States, but do not know whether she married or where she died.

The family moved to the Finnestad farm from Skaareflaaden on the Nord-Skaar farm. Elizabeth's last name is shown on the marriage register as Skaareflaaden and not Finnestad.
