Albert G. Graninger, 88, a retired farmer of the Lockett community, died in a local hospital Monday following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Graninger was born Nov. 6, 1879. He married Leona Whaley Oct 14, 1900, in Fannin County. They moved to Wilbarger County in 1927.
He made his home at 3026 Maiden.
Survivors include four sons, J.D. Graninger and Albert Graninger of Levelland and Frank Graninger and Jim Graninger of Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Mary ElizabethZipperle of Harrold and Mrs. Walter (Addie) Bachman of Vernon. One son Joe Graninger preceded him in death in July 1945. Twenty-five grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren also survive.
