Maude died at the age of 84, at the time of her death, she was living in the Limestone Community of Arden, Buncombe County, North Carolina, Her son J. A. Allen, Jr. provided the information for her death certificate which she was probably living with him and his faily. She died of ceberal vascular accident (thrombosis).
